We are offering this training in partnership with Cuba Wellness Adventures. All trips through Cuba Wellness Adventures are legal and licensed for US citizens and residents under the general license of the US Department of the Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations. The company was founded by San Francisco Bay Area yoga teachers, dancers, artists and public school teachers with a goal of connecting travelers to aspects of Cuba not usually seen by tourists.
A portion of the proceeds from all programs through Cuba Wellness Adventures is donated to Las Aguas Fund, which supports the sustainability of the amazing wellness and yoga communities in Cuba. So in signing up for this teacher training, you are also giving back to the yoga community in Cuba.
You will have Cuban and International guides with over 20 years of experience facilitating travel in Cuba. This will afford you the opportunity to see the real Cuba and meet the Cuban people who make it magic. The guides are also very familiar with the area and fluent in Spanish. They will be able to help with suggestions for things to do in Havana and will be able to help with helpful phrases you need to know to get from place to place. The teacher training program itself will be led completely in English.

"I loved the experience and signed up for the 300 hour program even before I finished. Aside from just being able to focus on yoga for 8 hours a day, a week at a time, with incredible instructors, I enjoyed working with my classmates and watching us all grow as yoga practitioners and instructors.” - Jeff Swanson
“ I would highly recommend the The Mazé Method 200 hour teacher training because it’s not just about learning to teach yoga poses. It’s learning about yourself. It’s about individual growth. That’s why I chose to study with The Mazé Method. Through this training I’ve become much more observant and gained awareness and understanding of what the poses do for our bodies. I joined the program to deepen my knowledge, but it has also been about evolvement in my own being. It’s been scary, exciting, very emotional and wonderful for me.”—Laura Wang
