200 Hour Teacher Training

Peach Friedman - Los Angeles, CA
4 modules from September-December 2020

Learn to teach what you love! This 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Peach Friedman in Los Angeles in 2020 is enrolling now!

200-hour teacher trainings take you on a journey of self-discovery and education into all things yoga. This foundational training (200–hour) program is ideal for serious students of yoga, aspiring yoga teachers, and teachers with varying levels of experience. This course is designed to help you learn more about all things yoga, leverage your practice to improve your poses—and your experience of them—provide you with an effective understanding of the biomechanical alignment of yoga postures (asana), as well as an expanded knowledge of yoga history and philosophy. A more robust understanding of these matters results in a deeper connection to yoga practice, yourself, and your life.

In this training, you will study and deconstruct asana (yoga poses), pranayama (breath work), meditation, applied anatomy, therapeutics, yoga theory & practice, yoga history & philosophy, basic Sanskrit, ethics & boundaries, and you will master the skills required to teach. Students with injuries and health issues are encouraged to attend.  Our curriculum combines detailed alignment and intelligent sequencing with vinyasa theory, and provides you with sound knowledge and skills to teach safe and effective yoga classes. We include no fewer than 160 on-site learning hours over a series of weekends. With great precision and clarity, your trainer will cover the primary tools needed to teach yoga to others.

Additionally, we provide our students with digital access to extensive online learning resources and materials, including workbooks, worksheets, and other documents via our school’s very own online learning platform, where (in addition to your classroom/in person time in this program) you will be able to expand your learning even further with access to hours of video lessons and online practices with your teachers. Your registration in this training will trigger your automatic enrollment in four of our most essential online courses (Essential Poses & Practice, Essential Teaching Skills, Anatomy Primer and Philosophy Primer), at no extra cost to you.  These courses have a stand alone retail value of approximately $1500.00 — and our students need not purchase these.  Via these online tools, you can begin learning as soon as you wish (though there is no need to prepare for this training prior to its start.)  Each of our online products offers  written resources like manuals/workbooks, articles and other downloadable pdf documents, which you will use both during the training and for years to come. If you wish to learn more about our online resources and the courses included as part of tuition (as well as many others in our library), simply visit our online course portal at www.mazeonyoga.com).

"I loved the experience and signed up for the 300 hour program even before I finished. Aside from just being able to focus on yoga for 8 hours a day, a week at a time, with incredible instructors, I enjoyed working with my classmates and watching us all grow as yoga practitioners and instructors.” - Jeff Swanson

“ I would highly recommend the The Mazé Method 200 hour teacher training because it’s not just about learning to teach yoga poses. It’s learning about yourself. It’s about individual growth. That’s why I chose to study with The Mazé Method. Through this training I’ve become much more observant and gained awareness and understanding of what the poses do for our bodies. I joined the program to deepen my knowledge, but it has also been about evolvement in my own being. It’s been scary, exciting, very emotional and wonderful for me.”—Laura Wang
